BPS Society

BPS Society

We encourage our parents to become involved in the BPS Society to promote the school community and have fun working and socialising together. It’s a fantastic way to engage more with the school and a great way to meet other parents.

The BPS Society organises social events and fundraising activities such as coffee mornings, quiz nights, Christmas fairs, wine and cheese tastings, summer BBQs, pre-loved uniform sales and school discos. These events supports the school by raising funds to buy equipment and services to benefit the girls during their years at BPS. All our events are a great opportunity for parents and girls to get together and have some fun.

We would love for you to join us – you can help as much or as little as you are able! Becoming a part of the BPS Society truly creates a sense of community, we hope to welcome you very soon.

Interested in becoming a part of our BPS Society? Please contact us if you would like to contribute in any way – we would greatly appreciate it.

Class Representatives

Class Representatives play an important role in matters relating to school life and school development. They provide the vital link between the class, the school and the BPS Society and canvas support from the other parents in the class to support BPS Society events.

The Class Reps are another conduit for communicating between school and parents. They meet with the Headmistress or Senior Leadership Team every half term to discuss and contribute to matters relating to school development, structures and operations. This is a valuable opportunity for the school to address parents’ questions on everyday matters and for the school to consider parental views across a variety of matters such as teaching, content of the syllabus, school trips, health and safety and school events.

The support from the Class Reps is also appreciated when it comes to organising our main events as well as more informal ‘get-togethers’ for parents, such as coffee mornings or evenings out in the Altrincham area.
