With extensive leadership experience in both mainstream and special educational needs provision, Mrs Delf has held senior roles in primary education, leading literacy initiatives across Trafford and Cheshire West. Passionate about delivering equitable, multisensory learning experiences, Mrs Delf is committed to inspiring curiosity, nurturing independence, and fostering a lifelong love of learning, valuing the school’s strong sense of community, shared values, and the way each pupil’s individual strengths are recognised and celebrated. Outside school, Mrs Delf enjoys travelling, reading, art, history, and exploring wildlife

From her very first visit, when Mrs Oakley was greeted with a warm welcome by Mrs Makepeace-Taylor, she knew Bowdon was the right place for her, a welcoming and vibrant school community where the positivity and enthusiasm make every day a genuine joy.
With experience across both state and independent settings, including serving as an EYFS Phase Leader within an Outstanding Multi-Academy Trust in London, Mrs Oakley brings a wealth of knowledge in Early Years and Key Stage 1, as well as experience teaching across all primary year groups. Passionate about fostering curiosity, independence, and a sense of wonder in young learners, Mrs Oakley particularly enjoys supporting children as they take their first steps into reading. Outside school, Mrs Oakley enjoys cooking, reading, swimming, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Bringing a wealth of experience from both coeducational and single-sex secondary and independent school settings, Mrs Hughes is passionate about creating learning experiences that build confidence, foster resilience, and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Playing a key role in promoting pupil wellbeing, safeguarding, and the development of sport across the school, Mrs Hughes values the school’s strong sense of community and belonging and finds great reward in watching pupils grow in confidence and achieve their potential. Outside school, Mrs Hughes enjoys travelling, theatre and live music, sport including skiing and spending time in the mountains

With a background in secondary science education, pastoral leadership, and curriculum development, Mrs McGrath brings extensive experience in supporting both academic and personal growth. Passionate about nurturing curiosity, confidence, resilience, and independent thinking, Mrs McGrath believes in creating engaging learning experiences that enable pupils to thrive, valuing the school’s inclusive and caring community and the opportunity to help pupils grow in confidence, individuality, and ambition. Outside school, Mrs McGrath enjoys musical theatre and volunteering with Trafford F.C. in support of its community and matchday activities..

Mrs Creely joins our leadership team with 28 years of experience managing operations and senior client relationships within the public sector. Having worked closely with local authorities and police forces, Mrs Creely brings a wealth of transferable expertise directly into our school environment.
With a long-standing background in strict public sector compliance and data protection, Mrs Creely ensures that our school operations meet the highest standards of safety, governance, and regulatory alignment.
