Tropical Rainforests

To introduce their study of tropical rainforests in geography this term, Year 3 visited Chester Zoo. They experienced a humid rainforest environment and visited an exciting range of insects, birds and animals that form part of this wonderfully biodiverse habitat. They also took part in workshops with experienced zoo staff to find out more about rainforests and the factors which threaten them.
