It was wonderful to invite our mummies into school today for a real treat.
The Year 1 pupils were full of smiles and ready to lead their assembly. It was such a special event, with our young girls reflecting on the special people in their lives and sharing personal messages.
I watched in wonder as I sat listening to their beautiful, lively singing. I was so proud to see the personal growth of each little girl in their performances. It’s hard to believe that this time last year, they were Reception pupils.
Special thanks to their amazing teachers and to Mrs Abbey for providing her home baked goodies.
We are always so grateful to receive such lovely feedback:
“I would like to thank you all for such a wonderful display put on by the girls celebrating mother’s day.
I was blown away by the fantastic singing and efforts by all the staff and girls in making it so special.
I think by the end of ‘You Raise Me Up’, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight!”
