Year 5 Visit Bowdon Synagogue

Last Thursday, Year 5 visited Bowdon synagogue, as part of their study of Judaism. We received a very warm welcome and were given a detailed tour of the synagogue. We learnt a great deal about Jewish customs and rules, including Kosher food and the writing of the Torah Scrolls. We even got to meet the Rabbi who answered some of our questions and let us take a picture! A most informative trip and the girls asked some really thoughtful questions.
