Year 2 Weaving

We know how creative our girls are, and their enjoyment during creative and practical learning opportunities is quite evident. Through aspects of design technology they are able to explore and experience a range of materials, and design and make good-quality products.This half-term, the Year 2 girls focused on a textile product and developed a variety of skills, including weaving. They had to work carefully, and they generated lots of ideas about their product before planning their designs. They then started the production task and modified their ideas for designs along the way. Once the work was completed, the girls were delighted with the results, and evaluated their own products and those of others.
