Year 4 go back to Tudor times

As part of this term’s history topic about Tudors, Year 4 visited Bramall Hall this week. The girls were able to admire the ancient hall and found out more about the construction of a timber frame  house. They made their own wattle and daub walls and experienced aspects of life in Tudor England. They learned about music and dancing, food and clothing for the rich and the poor, and herbs and medicines.

The girls came back to school with a vivid insight into Tudor life, to support their studies in history this year.
