Reach for the Stars

As we work towards our Space Education Quality mark, it was again our pleasure to welcome Annette from the Wonderdome to share with us her fantastic knowledge and age-appropriate animations to create a sense of wonder throughout our school. Girls were lucky enough to learn about the search for life amongst our solar system, as well as virtually visiting different planets and moons. A big focus this year was discussing the stars; our closest star being the Sun as well as other constellations within our universe. This fits beautifully with World Book Day theme; Out of this World. Our girls have had such a wonderful experience.  “We’ve just been to space”  – Reception pupil.
