Choosing the right school for your daughter is one of the most important decisions you can make as a family. We invite you to start the journey with us at our Open Day on Saturday 12th October. It’s a chance to see Bowdon Preparatory School (BPS) in action and to gain an understanding about our learning environment, values, goals and our ambitions for every pupil. You can also meet our pupils as well as those who have just moved on to senior school and talk to them about their BPS journey.
Our doors will be open from 12 to 2pm on Sat 12th Oct 2019 and we’re offering a wide range of exciting activities such as:
You can also listen to our award-winning choir and orchestra and visit our Book Fair. And there will be a free ‘Goodie Bag’ of useful and fun items for everyone who attends!
Mrs Gee, our Headmistress, shares her key reasons why she believes that BPS offers the best education for girls:
We are proud of our high standards at BPS. Our staff are specialist teachers who are passionate about their subjects. In addition to ensuring first class work from pupils, our teachers encourage good behaviour on a day to day basis through cultivating an environment of courtesy, respect and kindness. We are not afraid to push standards continually and our girls thrive as a result.
BPS doesn’t just stand for Bowdon Preparatory School, it also represents our values of Belief, Perseverance and Success. At BPS, our mission is to empower girls to believe in themselves, and to persevere and succeed in all that they do. We instil in our girls buckets of self-esteem, determination, responsibility and pride, which, in turn, leads them to enjoy successes – large and small.
BPS offers a supportive, nurturing and academic environment for girls within which to develop their talents. They become part of the BPS family, where they are known, understood and supported as individuals, and we enable pupils to foster key life skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, performing and presenting, resilience and adaptability.
BPS takes girls from Kindergarten to Y6, with places available in across the various year groups. Give our Admissions Officer – Mrs Sharkey – a call on 0161 928 0678 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more and book your Open Day place.
