Pupils feel fully prepared and well supported in the lead-up to their Year 6 examinations, without experiencing unnecessary pressure. Last year, 90% of pupils secured places at selective schools within both the state and independent sectors. Our exam preparation is gradual and carefully structured, ensuring that pupils enjoy a positive, stimulating and happy learning journey. Pupils work closely with specialist teachers to devise individual targets that enable them to build confidence and improve their performance.
We also hold parents’ evenings and pupil review meetings to provide detailed information about the wide range of senior schools available across the independent and maintained sectors. This enables parents to make well-informed decisions about future school choices.
