Ready for take off?

On Friday 7^th July, Year 1 visited The Runway Centre at Manchester Airport. The girls had a wonderful day learning all about the different roles at the airport. They have gained an understanding of the jobs of the pilots, cabin crew, air traffic control, airport police and the engineers. The girls were excited to try on some of their uniforms too! They all sat in the pilot’s seat and learnt about some of the many controls in the cockpit. We were thrilled when an Emirates Airlines pilot waved to us as he was passing them on the runway!
