Mothers’ Day Assembly

Year 1 gave their mummies, daddies and grandparents a wonderful treat for their Mothers’ Day assembly. The girls all proudly displayed the pictures they had drawn of their mummies with their favourite things and spoke clearly about why they loved their mummies so much. The girls sang a variety of songs for their families and brought a tear to many eyes when they sang their final song – you raise me up. The Year 1 girls impressed us all with their clear and confident speaking voices when reciting the poem they had learnt titled ‘What my Mummy is made of’. A lovely morning for all involved!
