Our fantastic new sports facilities were opened by the Mayor of Trafford, Mr Rob Chilton who was joined Year 6 girls, class ambassadors, school staff, representatives from Trafford School Sports Partnership and Bowdon Lawn Tennis Club.

We are delighted to have a multi purpose surface which can be configured for use as netball courts, tennis courts and which will have an athletics track and rounders courts marked out for the summer term. In addition to the current sporting activities we offer, hockey will be introduced for Prep girls in September.

As part of the opening celebrations, the Year 6 netball team took part in a match against BPS Old Girls who won the ISA Nationals in 2017 with many girls also taking part in a coaching lesson with Bowdon Lawn Tennis Club. All the girls, from Kindergarten to Year 6 had the chance to use the courts during the day.

We look forward to hosting many events, festivals and competitions where our girls can participate with pupils from other schools. By using these wonderful facilities, we also hope to continue to inspire our girls to engage in sport and reap the many benefits of being involved in physical activity.
