Runners-Up!

Our year six girls have taken part in the National Pop Lacrosse Championships – the Timperley round – with 9 other local schools.

We beat St. Vincent’s 9-2, Well Green 4-0 and Willows 4-2. We narrowly lost to Hale Prep 2-0 but qualified for the semi-finals and played against Bollin in a nailbiting match! The final score was 3-3 so it came down to sudden death and Flora flicked in a goal in the first minute, so we won 4-3!

In the final, we lost 3-1 to Hale Prep but played a fantastic match, particularly in defence!

We were awarded runners up medals and now go through to the Trafford round of the championships in March! Congratulations on a fabulous ALL GIRL team effort!
