Year 2 go back to the Stone Age

We (Homo Sapiens) had a fantastic morning going back in time over 2 million years and finding out all about the Stone Age. We learned about creatures such as a giant sloth (a Megatherium), a woolly rhino and a sabre tooth tiger.  We had a fantastic time handling artefacts such as tools and weapons. We even managed to hear a Stone Age band!

As a follow up the girls made a piece of cave art from clay using sticks we had foraged from Bowdon Prep’s very own grounds.
