4 young school girls

Speke Hall

29th June 2016

Our Year 4 girls, having studied the Tudors with great interest, visited Speke Hall on 26 June.

They had a wonderful time learning about the house and seeing how it had been built.

In the afternoon, they handled artefacts, made pomanders using oranges and cloves (it was very smelly in Tudor times!) and two of the girls were dressed up as a Tudor boy and a Tudor girl.

They all went home happily, clutching a ‘goody bag’.
