A Letter from Terry Waite

6th October 2016

A Letter from Terry Waite CBE

I am writing immediately following the concert at St Oswald’s to thank each and every one of you for making it such a special evening. It was really wonderful to have the two choirs singing together especially as they were both so accomplished.

The presentation you made to me was completely unexpected and will have pride of place at home. It has been a true delight to be associated with the Warrington Male Voice Choir for twenty years. I doubt I shall make another twenty but the choir certainly will!

I must apologise for not staying for the reception afterwards but I had to return to Suffolk that night. It was a terrible journey due to multiple road closures and I eventually got to bed at five am! I might as well have stayed after all.

Thank you all again and would you please also pass my real gratitude to Mrs Paterson and her splendid young choir. They are outstanding.

Yours as ever

Terry
