EYFS Outdoor Learning

Kindergarten and Reception are thoroughly enjoying our new learning outdoor area.

The transformed space now hosts areas including the reading area, counting shed, maths shed, construction and sand play areas.

We also have a digging area where we have been growing vegetables and an outdoor classroom where we have been doing some of our PSHE lessons.

The girls are now able to make the most efficient use of resources and build on their interests.

We can see enjoyment and sense of wonder that the outdoor space has generated. It is lovely that this change has had such a positive impact on the girls’ learning and has given them freedom to explore using their senses in a physical and active way.
