Year 1 Trip

The Year 1 girls have been learning all about animals, the sea and the seaside, and as part of this topic we visited The Blue Planet Aquarium in Ellesmere Port to learn all about fich and sea creatures.
We had the opportunity to explore the aquarium, watch sharks, and participate in the teaching session ‘Under the Sea’. We loved exploring and discovering all about the underwater habitats and sea life. Not only did we learn a lot during our educatinal lesson with a Marine Biologist called David but we enjoyed seeing all the different species of sharkes, stingrays, eels and the many other fish which were fed by the very brave scuba divers!
It was all great fun; Mrs Wilshaw and Mrs Jackson thought that all the girls were extremely well behaved and a credit to Bowdon Prep.
